Art-a-Whirl Preview Open Studio

The artists of the Casket Arts campus invite you to preview studios and original artwork as we prepare for Art-a-Whirl! We know that many potential and repeat visitors shy away from the crowds and traffic of Art-A-Whirl weekend (May 15-17)—so we are excited to offer you a low-key alternative the Saturday before, May 9, 11 am – 4 pm. While AAW is exciting in its scope throughout the NE Minneapolis Arts District and the additional live music, food trucks, and more, Preview Saturday offers a calmer opportunity to view (and acquire!) new art and interact more personally with the artists. Plenty of on-street free parking! Our studios (the Casket Arts main building, Carriage House and Factory) present everything from painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography to jewelry, metal and wood works, ceramics and printmaking.
