Heads up! The 31st annual Art-A-Whirl® --the nation’s largest art crawl—returns throughout the Northeast Arts District May 15-17. Rated in the top ten best art studio crawls by US News/Reports (“best” in 2023) and drawing around 100,000 visitors to the studios in the area, AAW is a free event boasting not only open artist studios but demos, classes, food trucks, live music and more, from Central Av on the east to the river on the west, including flagship studio buildings Northrup King, California, and Casket Arts. At Casket Arts, we will have food trucks daily, live music Friday night and Saturday, a coffee cart, and the annual Basement Speakeasy fundraiser for the Northeast Arts District. Studio 218 open all weekend hours—5-10 Friday, Noon – 8 Saturday, Noon- 5 Sunday. 681 17th Av NE and throughout the NE Arts District.
