Dow Art Gallery

The Dow Art Gallery and Framing presents another juried exhibition, this one devoted to “everything metal” – metal sculpture, paintings on metal, works printed on metal, works including metal components, etc. I am pleased to have three mixed media works –all including metal pieces—included in this diverse show. Two of my works (“People’s Way” and “Remnants”) combine acrylic, collage and metal “remnants” found among the debris along Chicago Av near Lake Street following the burning of businesses in response to the killing of George Floyd in spring 2020. The third work, “Hi Tek” was a fun adventure combining paint, cardboard, and miscellaneous small computer parts donated by a friend.
