Second Saturdays at Casket Arts 

Every month you can enjoy a free, casual, laid-back opportunity to visit artists’ studios and view current work at the Casket Arts campus. Studio 218 will be open (unless otherwise posted here), 11 am – 4 pm throughout the year on the dates below. There are always some other studios open throughout Casket, and you can also find open studios in other Northeast Arts District locations—Northrop King and California Buildings are also open on Second Saturdays. No appointment needed. I often have some live music in the studio, too (usually solo guitar or piano). This is an ideal way to explore the local arts community, especially if you dislike the crowds of Art-a-Whirl and other big events.

Casket Arts (including the Carriage House and NE Sculpture Gallery/Factory) is located in the old Northwest Casket Company factory at 681 17th Ave NE, Minneapolis.
